BasicX Catalogue scans your BasicX folder for BasicX files containing Functions, Subs and a list of BasicX keywords and makes a BCXOLR database of the results. You know you wrote a function using some BasicX keyword 2 or 3 years ago and there was some magical way you got it to work but what was that function. This program helps you find it. After you run the program, add the resultant DB database to BCXOLR in File | Manage Database file(s) to add the results. It can also be scheduled to run so your DB is updated according to your schedule. On my machine it takes under 6 seconds to catalgogue all files in my BasicX folder (200 files), but saves me when searching for where did I use function "FLIPBITS". To install, unzip the files to your BCXOLR folder and run from there. To add this to schedule see (REM this help was originally a created for BCX programs, so use a little common sense and add yours own Paths etc.) Using this program BasicX Catalogue GUI screen shot BCXOLR using BasicX Catalogue database screen shot Download this file Programs I use to build these files: If you would like to update your own message DB's I have a couple of programs I use. You will need a dedicated POP3 email account to receive the messages, and have the Yahoo group send new messages to that email box. My BCXOLR Tools You could let the me know if you have suggestions etc. for this program, I'll pass it onto others of the BCXOLR team. ian.casey@starpig.com Have fun, Ian The BCXOLR team: Doyle Whisenant
